Alonso takes new chassis for Monza

McLaren driver Fernando Alonso will take a new chassis this weekend following last weekend's crash in Spa-Francorchamps. Alonso's rear was hit by Nico Hulkenberg which caused his MCL33 to flip over Sauber's Charles Leclerc and the Spaniard described his car as "gone" following his race. "I think it's the chassis that I used in winter testing on the first races. So it's something that we already raced with, but it's a new chassis," Alonso told RaceFans.net. Alonso also revealed that his team are running low of stock of current-specification parts as a result of the crash.
