Hamilton absent from media duty on Thursday

Lewis Hamilton won't be present on Thursday for the media on Monza, Sky Sports Italia has reported, as the current championship leader will only be on the circuit to practice on Friday. That means the media won't get to speak to him ahead of qualifying on Saturday. In Hungary last month, Ferrari were excused from media activity, but that was because Ferrari boss Sergio Marchionne had recently passed away then, and the team wanted some privacy to mourn for their leader. There's been no reason for Hamilton's absence as of yet. It could be both personal or work reasons.
