Ricciardo: New Red Bull deal will definitely be done by Spa

With Mercedes seats taken in 2019 and Ferrari likely to stick to their current driver line-up, Daniel Ricciardo is certain to extend his deal with Red Bull until the end of 2020, the two parties set to announce a deal before the end of August. Asked how negotiations are progressing, the Australian replied, “Yeah it’s alright, it’s all good. It’ll definitely be done by Spa so whether it gets announced over the break or at Spa, but it’s just a little bit of fine-tuning. It’s all good. You will hear something soon I’m sure.” The fine-tuning is likely to revolve around money. Ricciardo's teammate Max Verstappen inked a deal last October said to be worth $20-million per year....
