Zak Brown "highly unlikely" to oust Vandoorne before Belgium

With Stoffel Vandoorne's struggles never ending, the rumour mill started turning suggesting that he would be forced out after the summer break. In the Hungarian paddock, it didn't take long for Zak Brown to shoot the rumours down. He told Het Laatste Nieuws that it was "highly unlikely" he would oust Vandoorne before his home race. The Belgian retired from the race yesterday due to a mechanical failure. "We would like to see him [Vandoorne] beat his teammate. But all the drivers Fernando has competed against have been beaten by him. So there's nothing to be ashamed of," Brown added.
