Vandoorne believes he should get McLaren seat for 2019
Stoffel Vandoorne thinks that he's shown enough to McLaren that he's capable of driving for them next season. Vandoorne only made the step up to F1 full-time in 2017, after being with McLaren through his junior career. This season has been eventful to say the least, for McLaren. So perhaps this isn't the best season for Vandoorne to express his true talents. Vandoorne has struggled compared to his McLaren team mate Fernando Alonso. The Belgian is the only man yet to out-qualify the Spaniard and Vandoorne's only got 8 points compared to Alonso's 40 points.
