Inside Line: F1 TV technical service update
I, like many Formula 1 fans, dished out money for the much anticipated F1 Live Pro streaming service that was launched ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix weekend but, again like many, the streaming did not happen instead we got a black screen with a silly Pirelli race tyre icon rotating and ‘Initialising' forever. For a sport so technologically advanced, owned by a media company, to fail when trying to stream live racing to their subscribers is laughable to say the least. After all it was supposed to launch at the season opener in Melbourne – how wrong could they have got it that they are still struggling. But as a fan who wants this streaming thing to happen, I will be patient...
