Ricciardo: I had a spin which put me in no-man's land

Daniel Ricciardo finished fifth in the Spanish Grand Prix, his plight not helped by a spin during the VSC restart which compromised his race, while his teammate Max Verstappen managed to finish on the podium. A day earlier, after qualifying the Australian was stumped by the Q3 pace shown by Ferrari and Mercedes, but expected a better race package. Speaking to reporters after the race, the Australian said, 'It was just a bit tricky to drive. It was fast when you were able to put it all together but easy to make mistakes.
