Formula E presents first physical Gen2 car in Geneva

Formula E wheeled onto a podium in Geneva the first physical example of its next generation electric racer set to hit the tracks for the 2018/19 season. The striking modern design was introduced by FIA President Jean Todt and Formula E boss Alejandro Agag. The car marks a departure from its predecessor with the help of bold, futuristic lines but also thanks to the inclusion of a new battery pack offering twice the energy store of the previous bundle, which spells the end to mid-race car swaps for FE drivers. The Gen 2 electric machine weighs in at the minimum weight of 900kg, including the driver and the 385kg battery pack, while its maximum output remains at 250kW. Abt bags maiden Formula...
