No extra winter test day in freezing Barcelona
2018 Formula 1's first winter test in freezing conditions is going ahead as originally planned. Running on the third day of 2018 pre-season F1 testing has yet to start, and the freezing conditions look set to wipe out the whole session. The poor climate predicted well in advance, some teams began lobbying for a change to the schedule earlier this week. The talks came as cold temperatures as low as 2-3 degrees made getting temperature into the tyres almost impossible on Tuesday. 'That was not driving,' Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel said.
