Kubica: We should stop talking about my limitations
Williams reserve Robert Kubica is tired of reporters asking about his 'limitations' and said as much after he completed an impressive run on the second afternoon of 2018 Formula 1 preseason testing at Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona. Kubica, who narrowly missed out on a race seat with Williams, has nevertheless been retained to support Lance Stroll and Sergey Sirotkin in a secondary role as development and reserve driver. On Tuesday, after his first preseason test since 2011 before a freak rally crash halted his career, Kubica completed 58 trouble-free laps with a best lap time of 1:21.495 which was the fastest time of all three Williams drivers thus far during the test.
