Mercedes launches Bottas helmet design competition
Mercedes has launched a fan competition to design a new helmet for Valtteri Bottas for the 2018 Formula 1 world championship season. A similar competition during the build-up to last season gave fans the opportunity to create a design for Lewis Hamilton and following on from that success Mercedes has started a new contest for the British driver’s team-mate. Fans have just over 10 days to enter their best designs to Mercedes with the winning entry to be selected by Bottas which will act as his primary helmet design for 2018 to be used for most races. F1 drivers are allowed a limited number of special helmet designs per season but are encouraged to keep a consistent look to help fans...
