Gasly joins Alonso, Vandoorne on grid penalties list

Toro Rosso driver Pierre Gasly will take a five-place grid penalty for Sunday's Mexican Grand Prix after the team fitted his fifth control electronics. Meanwhile, Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne will drop 20 and 35 places respectively after their Formula 1 engine component changes were confirmed. Honda had planned to make changes on both cars for Mexico, where it expects to struggle, in favour of fresher elements for the final two races of the season in Brazil and Abu Dhabi. Alonso will take his ninth internal combustion engine, 11th turbocharger, 10th MGU-H of the season for the race at Mexico City.
