Mercedes boss "worried" about Bottas' slump in form
Mercedes Formula 1 team boss Toto Wolff says he is worried about Valtteri Bottas's recent slump in form, but he has backed the Finn to "undo the problem". Bottas has struggled since F1's summer break, and has been unable to get as comfortable with the W08's sensitive characteristics as teammate Lewis Hamilton. In Malaysia, Bottas went as far as suggesting that his lack of confidence in the car has left him facing the most difficult moment of his career. When asked at Sepang if he was worried about the gap between his two drivers at the moment, Wolff said: "Yes, I'm worried because I want Valtteri to do well. Everyone wants Valtteri to do well.
