Bottas adds to Pirelli mileage at Paul Ricard
– Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas carried out tyre testing in association with Pirelli at Paul Ricard on Friday.Pirelli is permitted 25 days of tyre testing per season in order to hone its products for the following year, and Bottas was in action in Mercedes' W08 in Southern France. After Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton completed 114 laps on Thursday, Bottas took over testing duties and added 109 laps in warm and sunny conditions as he trialled Pirelli's 2018 prototype tyres.As per usual, the test was carried out 'blind', meaning neither driver nor team was aware of the compounds being used, while data will be shared between all squads.All 10 Formula 1 teams are involved in tyre testing...
