Sochi names grandstand after Petrov

– Officials at Sochi Autodrom, home of the Russian Grand Prix, have named one of the grandstands after Vitaly Petrov, the nation's first Formula 1 driver.Petrov made his debut in the sport with Renault in 2010, and finished on the podium at the 2011 Australian Grand Prix, before spending his final year on the grid with Caterham in 2012.Petrov has raced in DTM and the World Endurance Championship since his F1 exit, taking an LMP2 podium at Le Mans last year, and Sochi's Turn 2 grandstand has now been named in his honour."This is a really significant event in my life," said Petrov."I'm sure that the grandstand named after me will always be packed, because it is located...
