Pirelli announces further tyre compound choices

Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has announced its tyre compound choices for the Spanish, Monaco, Canadian and Azerbaijan Grands Prix. The soft, the medium and the hard are the compounds chosen by the Italian manufacturer for the Barcelona event, the fifth round of the championship. For Monaco and Canada, Pirelli has opted for the same choices: the ultrasoft, the supersoft and the soft. The supersoft, the soft and the medium will be taken to the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. One of the two hardest compounds must be used at least once during the races, while one set of the softest option must be saved for Q3, the top 10 qualifiers needing to return that set at the end of the session.
