Toro Rosso complete the 2017 grid with STR12

Toro Rosso were the last team to unveil their new car, the STR12, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on the eve of pre-season testing. The car features a revised livery which is now a lighter blue with grey lettering in conjunction with Red Bull’s newer products. The STR12 has a smoother nose than most of its thumb-tipped competitors, in a similar style to the Mercedes W08. Unlike the world champions, however, this car has a shark fin on the rear bodywork. Toro Rosso finished seventh in the constructors’ championship in 2016 with 63 points, finishing just behind McLaren, despite using a year-old Ferrari engine for the season.
