Williams sign Paul Di Resta for another season as reserve

Scottish racer Paul Di Resta has been signed by Williams to continue as reserve driver for the 2017 season.  Di Resta has been on the sidelines of F1 since the end of 2013, when he was dropped by Force India after three seasons racing for the Silverstone team. However, he managed to pick up a role as reserve driver with Williams for the 2016 season and will continue in this position in 2017. This means that if there are any races where either regular race drivers Felipe Massa or Lance Stroll are unable to take part, Di Resta will be expected to fill in and take the grid for the first time in over three years.
