BREAKING: Russell faces disqualification for underweight car

28/07/2024 at 17:0428/07/2024 at 17:16 George Russell faces disqualification from the Belgian Grand Prix after his Mercedes was found to be 1.5kg underweight in post-race technical scrutineering in parc ferme. Russell seized an amazing victory in the race after pulling off a 34-lap run on a single set of hard tyres to finish just ahead of his team mate Lewis Hamilton in a hard fought race on Sunday. But that result is in jeopardy after post-race checks found that the W15 failed to meet minimum weight requirements. The official stewards document stated that: "After the Race, car number 63 was weighed and its weight was 798.0 kg, which is the minimum weight...
