McLaren fined for Norris incident at Silverstone
McLaren has been fined 1000 for an incident that occurred in the pit lane during the third free practice session. The team has also received a warning from the stewards. It turned out that there was a cooler still stuck to the car and a mechanic had to come in to remove it. As the mechanic crossed the white line of the pit lane exit in doing so, entering the track without asking permission, the stewards decided to give the team a fine and a warning.
