Mercedes make fun of Lewis Hamilton
Mercedes' social media admins were in good form on Tuesday, with the team having taken aim at themselves through a comical tweet. In preparation for this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, Mercedes tweeted an image of them supposedly travelling to Barcelona, whilst Lewis Hamilton's car was seen outside the plane window. The image of Hamilton's car was from Free Practice 3 at the Monaco Grand Prix, where his car was lifted high into the air by a crane after the Briton crashed at Mirabeau. Whilst cars being lifted by cranes is normal at the Circuit de Monaco, Hamilton's car did appear to be lifted considerably higher than usual, whilst it also swung perilously close to a block of apartments.
