Toto Wolff reveals wish after losing star driver to Red Bull

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has admitted that he did consider re-signing Nyck de Vries, who is set to become a star for Red Bull. The 2019 F2 World Champion and Season Seven Formula E World Champion grabbed AlphaTauri's attention following his shock points finish at the Italian Grand Prix, after filling in for the medically ruled-out Alex Albon. Given how little time the former Mercedes reserve driver had behind the wheel of Albon's FW44 at Monza, his performance and P9 finish were truly exceptional.
