Sainz explains why Baku DNF has given him an extra problem
Article To news overview © XPB Carlos Sainz admits that his latest retirement at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix has added to his problem of not being able to build momentum in the 2022 season. The Spaniard pulled off the track on Lap 9 of the event due to his Ferrari suffering a hydraulic issue, marking his third DNF of the campaign. There have been other struggles for Sainz during the year, too, including difficulties in adapting to the car in the same way that teammate Charles Leclerc has, as well as some crashes.
