Mortara wins second Diriyah E-Prix as de Vries' race implodes

Article To news overview © FIA Formula E Edoardo Mortara has won the second race of the weekend on the streets of Diriyah, having started from second place on the grid. The Venturi driver overtook pole-sitter Nyck de Vries on track during the race as the Dutch driver struggled for pace, before hunting down and passing his teammate Lucas Di Grassi. Envision Racing's Robin Frijns finished in second place, and was left frustrated by not having a chance to attack Mortara in the closing stages as the Safety Car neutered the race with five minutes remaining. The Safety Car was deployed to cover the recovery of Mahindra's Alexander Sims, who hit the barriers and wasn't able to get his car back...
