Lynn wins a thrilling London E-Prix

Article To news overview Alex Lynn won a dramatic London E-Prix after Lucas di Grassi was disqualified when leading for a controversial move under the safety car. Di Grassi went through the pit lane under the safety car when he was eighth but emerged in the lead at the exit, due to the slower speed of being on the track behind the safety car versus a car that goes through the pit lane. There was an argument in the second half of the race between the stewards and Audi team principal Allan McNish when Di Grassi was given a drive-through penalty.
