Daniela Zanardi: Alex is in a special clinic, still fighting
A year since his horrific handbike accident Alex Zanardi's wife Daniel granted an interview regarding her husband's condition which was published on the BMW Motorsport website. This is the full transcript: One year has passed since Alessandro Zanardi suffered severe injuries in a handbike accident in Italy in June 2020. It has been a year in which the BMW brand ambassador is once more showing his fighting spirit and is working his way back, even if it is a long way.
