Seidl: Decision to keep formidable Norris was straightforward

Article To news overview © McLaren Andreas Seidl has spoken about how easy a decision it was for McLaren to sign Lando Norris up to a new long-term deal. On Wednesday, the team confirmed that they will keep the young British driver on their books for 2022 and beyond on a new 'multi-year' deal. With Ferrari putting their weight behind Charles Leclerc, and Red Bull behind Max Verstappen, both of whom are on long-term arrangements, McLaren have followed suit with their young charger and Seidl said that it made sense given Norris' pace. “Our decision to confirm Lando’s long-term future at McLaren was very straightforward," Seidl told the media in the wake of the team's announcement....
