Tsunoda apologises after making comments about team

The Japanese rookie was knocked out in 16th place after failing to put in a good final run as he kicked up gravel in the third sector, while teammate Pierre Gasly finished in fifth in the same session. Speaking after the session, Tsunoda made comments that could be seen as inflammatory towards his team.
