Tost: 'They're trying to stall for time'

Red Bull and Alpha Tauri are diligently searching for an engine supplier. As of 2022 both teams will be without an engine after Honda already announced they would stop their Formula 1 programme. Franz Tost, team boss of Alpha Tauri, is not happy with the attitude of the engine suppliers. Earlier, Red Bull raised the idea of continuing to run with a Honda engine after 2021. Even after the Japanese brand has pulled its hands from it. The condition is that there must be a freeze on engine development.
