AlphaTauri's Tsunoda adds to F1 experience at Imola
AlphaTauri rookie Yuki Tsunoda gained more Formula 1 experience during a private test day at Emilia Romagna Grand Prix venue Imola on Wednesday. Tsunoda finished third in last year’s Formula 2 standings, as top rookie, and carried out running at Imola before partaking in the post-season test in Abu Dhabi. Formula 1 teams are limited to only three days of official pre-season testing in Bahrain, where 2021 cars will be used, with shared seat time meaning each driver is set for just 1.5 days of action. But teams are permitted to carry out running in cars two or more years old and AlphaTauri has elected to give Tsunoda more track time ahead of his debut. Tsunoda piloted the 2019-spec Toro...
