Brawn: Max ‘matured', Hamilton driver of the year

Formula 1 managing director Ross Brawn believes Max Verstappen 'matured' as a driver in 2020, while Lewis Hamilton was his standout. Verstappen finished the 2020 season P3 in the Drivers' Championship with 214 points, matching his highest career finishing position in Formula 1 after also claiming P3 in 2019. And without his fair share of bad luck, most notably the back-to-back DNFs at Monza and Mugello, Verstappen could well have secured P2 in the standings.
