Magnussen: I'm pissed off

Haas' Kevin Magnussen has hit-out at several Formula 1 drivers after their failure to respect yellow flag conditions cost saw him eliminated in Q1 for the Turkish Grand Prix on Saturday. Seemingly in contention to make Q2, Magnussen was on a flying lap in the final minutes of Q1 when spins for Williams' Nicholas Latifi and AlphaTauri's Daniil Kvyat brought out double-waved yellows, causing the Dane to abandon his run. However, several drivers set improved times under the yellow flags, and while Lando Norris and George Russell were handed five-second penalties after qualifying was over, Magnussen insists it should have been dealt with as it happened. “I backed off, and nobody else did,”...
