Portimão Qualifying: Can Max bulldoze the Mercs?
Qualifying for the 2020 Portuguese Grand Prix is soon to set get underway, with what could possibly be a three-way fight for pole. Separated by a mere 0.026 seconds at the top of the timetable in FP3, Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton are unsurprisingly in the fight, but Red Bull's Max Verstappen has also positioned himself as a contender after getting within 0.158s of the lead despite being on slower tyres. Plus his fans may well be approaching qualifying with some trepidation as he is clearly in fighting spirit if his heat-of-the-moment tirade streamed at Lance Stroll during FP2 on Friday is anything to go by.
