Mercedes confirms positive coronavirus case within F1 team
Mercedes has confirmed one of its team members has tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the Eifel Grand Prix weekend. Mercedes has offered no further information, but it is believed that the positive results were not returned by drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. F1 has reported a higher number of coronavirus cases over the last handful of testing rounds, with last week’s confirmed total reading 10 ancillary cases.
