Mick Schumacher debuts next week at Alfa Romeo

It had been hanging in the air for a while, but it's official now. Mick Schumacher will make his debut at the Eifel Grand Prix for the first time in a Formula 1 car, the Alfa Romeo's C39. His debut will be in free practice on Friday, according to a press release from Ferrari. In addition to Schumacher, Callum Ilott will also be in action; he will be in the Haas VF-20 on Friday. First meters will be made tomorrow So for Schumacher and Ilott the debut comes soon, Robert Shwartzman - also a Ferrari Driver Academy 'student' - gets his chance later in the year. He will make his debut in a Formula 1 car during free practice in Abu Dhabi, but whether it will be with Haas or Alfa Romeo is not...
