Simon Roberts takes over at Williams, Group CEO to retire

Williams F1 has announced that Simon Roberts will take over the running of the team with immediate effect, ahead of this weekend's Tuscany Grand Prix. The news comes just days after former team boss Sir Frank Williams formally left the business he and Patrick Head founded 43 years ago, and Claire Williams stood down as deputy team principal following the Italian GP. Roberts takes the role in an interim capacity during a transitional time period that will also see the departure of the chief executive officer of Williams Grand Prix Engineering, Mike O’Driscoll.
