‘Nobody can take my seat', warns Giovinazzi
Antonio Giovinazzi has warned that 'nobody can take' his Alfa Romeo seat for 2021 based on his current form. The Italian driver had a brief taste of Formula 1 back in 2017 when he drove two races for Sauber, but it was in 2019 when he landed his first full-time Formula 1 seat with the same outfit, by that point known as Alfa Romeo. His first year with the team was a slow burner but he found form as the year went on and Alfa retained him for the 2020 season. This year hasn't been smooth sailing, thanks mainly to the poor Alfa Romeo C39, but Giovinazzi has scored two World Championship points, whilst his veteran team-mate Kimi Raikkonen is still on zero.
