Wolff suggests F1 should open up team intercoms further

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has suggested Formula 1 should look at opening radio channels further in order to enhance the entertainment value during races. Formula 1 has come in for criticism in recent events for the processional nature up front, with the three leaders in Belgium all running one-stop Medium/Hard strategies. But Wolff defended the situation and believes Formula 1 needs to find a way of promoting behind-the-scenes tension and drama during grands prix. “I understand what the fans say and there are some races which are not very entertaining and there’s others which are the contrary,” said Wolff.
