F1 budget cap a "path to profitability" - Brown

McLaren CEO Zak Brown believes the Formula 1 budget cap will "put a better product on the track" when it is finally introduced in 2021. F1 had planned to introduce a cost cap of $175million, but the global pandemic and resulting financial pressures on teams and manufacturers saw this figure drop to $145m for next year, $140m in 2022, and then $135m from 2023 for three years.
