Mercedes launches new livery to promote diversity

Mercedes have revealed a new black livery for their 2020 car ahead of the first race of the Formula 1 season, as part of a public pledge to increase the team's diversity. Launched amidst an ongoing worldwide discussion regarding racism and discrimination, the six-time defending world champions released the following statement: 'When Formula 1 returns to racing this weekend in Austria, it will do so in a world that has changed profoundly since the teams last gathered in Melbourne in early March.
