Pirelli Change Up Tyre Compounds for F1 Silverstone Double-Header
Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli have announced the tyre compound selections for the opening eight races of the 2020 season, and have decided to use two different compound variations for the doubleheader at Silverstone. Pirelli plan to bring the C2, C3, and C4 compounds for the two races in Austria, Hungary, Belgium, and Italy, and the harder C1, C2, and C3 compounds for the British and Spanish Grands Prix. However, for the second race at Silverstone sandwiched between them, dubbed the Emirates Formula 1 70th Anniversary Grand Prix, will be one step softer than the offerings for the British Grand Prix.
