Gasly in ‘best shape ever' after quarantine

Pierre Gasly says that he's better prepared to race coming out of the quarantine, due to the time he had to train. The AlphaTauri driver decided to spend the first two months of the lockdown period in Dubai before recently returning home to France. In Dubai, he was with his coach and had a personal gym, as well as plenty of free time. He spent this time training and says he's in the best shape of his life because of it. 'I stayed in Dubai for about two months, which was a really tough period for everyone, having to stay inside in lockdown with not very much to do,' he said in a press release announcing his new sponsorship deal with sunglasses company Hawkers.
