Leclerc wins ‘Race for the World', raises $70,000

The Race for the World, a series of virtual races led by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, has concluded with $70,000 raised for the World Health Organisation's COVID-19 Solidarity Relief Fund. The series, which was won by Leclerc with 90 points over the six races, finished shy of its original fundraising goal of $100,000, but still represented a commendable effort in the fight against the coronavirus. Behind the Monegasque in the standings there was a major upset, with Luca Albon, the younger brother of Red Bull driver Alex, finishing second on 71 points.
