Verstappen to make Supercars Eseries wildcard appearance

Red Bull Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen will make a wildcard appearance in the Supercars All Stars Eseries. The Dutchman will race in a Red Bull liveried V8 Holden Commodore Supercar in the second round of the Australian championship’s virtual series, with two races taking place on Wednesday night. The Supercars Eseries features F1 circuits familiar to Verstappen including Spanish Grand Prix venue Barcelona and Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix. “I’m looking forward to the race,” Verstappen said. “It’s going to be a challenge as it’s not a car I’ve driven a lot on the sim, but they are pretty cool to watch in real life.
