Wolff: Rift with Lewis is total nonsense
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has shot-down speculation of a spat with Lewis Hamilton in the aftermath of the Australian Grand Prix, arguing that their relationship is in-fact 'closer than ever'. Per the original reports, Hamilton — who had been a vocal critic of Formula 1's decision to come to Australia — was upset with Wolff for initially voting in favour of the race going ahead after a McLaren staff member had tested positive for COVID-19. It was only after Daimler chairman Ola Källenius intervened in favour of cancelling the race that Wolff changed his mind.
