Albon wants to become a title contender

Although he knows he still has work to do, Red Bull's Alex Albon wants to make himself a title contender soon. The Anglo-Thai driver stepped up to a Red Bull seat over the summer break last year and went on to finish outside the top six on only one occasion in the remainder of the season – that being when Lewis Hamilton wiped him out of a podium position in Brazil. And even though he knows himself that he is still a work in progress, that isn't stopping Albon from wanting to become a title contender eventually. 'I want to be there, of course I want to be fighting there,' he told Sky Sports F1. 'I know I need to work on myself, I don't think I'm there yet but I'm still working on it....
