Mercedes announce a multi-year partnership with AMD
Mercedes have confirmed a new multi-year partnership with 'high-performance computing leader AMD', but the team are yet to sign up to race past the current season. To date, just seven of the ten current Formula One teams have committed to the sport past 2020 and into the new regulation era in 2021. Mercedes are not one of these seven. Article continues under video Sitting at the top of the Formula One pyramid, a position they have held for six consecutive years, the chances of Mercedes reign continuing are not high, if history is to be believed, so it isn't entirely without merit the the German manufacturer is taking its time to make a commitment.
