Mario Isola predicts Pirelli rubber to overheat in 2020

Pirelli Formula 1 boss Mario Isola thinks that the tyres for next season are likely to overheat more. Isola believes that the cars in 2020 will be putting more energy through the tyre and this will result in them getting too hot.  Formula 1 decided to keep the 2019 rubber for next season but the teams will make the cars faster over the winter break and the added aerodynamics could add some extra strain on the tyres.  "In a condition of consistent technical regulation, because the technical regulations for this year is no different compared to last year, the rate of development is measuring 1-second to 1.5s per lap," Isola told Motorsport.com.
