Verstappen: Why not two Brazilian GP races?
If the Brazilian GP is to leave Interlagos at the end of 2020 and move to Rio, then Max Verstappen would like two Brazilian GPs. It's well documented that the contract to host the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos is up after 2020, and plans have been made public by the country's president Jair Bolsonaro to move the event to a new circuit to be built in Rio de Janeiro. Interlagos hasn't missed an F1 season since 1990, so if there was a new venue coming for the Brazilian GP, Verstappen wants it to be in addition to Interlagos. “It’s not very long, it doesn’t have a lot of corners, but when you’re driving, it’s really enjoyable,” he told told reporters in Sao Paulo. “If it’s...
