Austin Qualifying: Bottas pips Vettel with Verstappen close

Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas will start the United States Grand Prix from pole position, after pipping Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel to the top spot start for the race at Circuit of the America's on Sunday. Bottas' first effort of 1:32.029 in Q3 was not beaten on the afternoon, with Vettel's best shot a mere 0.012 of a second down on pole, with Max Verstappen just 0.067 of a second shy of the Finn's pole-winning lap.
